• Following the successful voyages in August/September of 1998, 2000 and 2001, 2002 and 2003 there was another opportunity for the youngsters of the Wirral to experience life on a sailing ship. In August 2004 we travelled to Portsmouth and joined the Stavros S. Niarchos. From there we sailed to across the English Channel to Cherbourg. After a brief stop there, we headed out down the Cornish coast and around the Isles of Scilly and up the Celtic Sea to Waterford in Southern Ireland. Next leg was to Dublin and then across to the finish at West Float docks in Birkenhead.
